I built this site on WordPress using a modified version of the OceanWP theme. The shop is powered by Woocommerce, with payment processing support from Square and Paypal. I’m learning all this stuff as I go, so if you have any suggestions or notice any inconsistencies, please feel free to let me know! And on the flip side, if you are just getting started with a similar project, I’m happy to share some of what I’ve learned. The WordPress forums and Stackoverflow community have proven invaluable as I’ve learned how to tweak my child theme to get everything displaying and behaving properly.
All graphics on this site were developed by me using a combination of GIMP and Inkscape. I strongly encourage anyone seeking alternatives to mainstream software vendors to give free open-source software a try!
